While the powers that be continue to mull over it, here’s a thought they might add to the possibilities. It’s the latest in bus shelters from Singapore.
It has a rack of books, geared for all ages. Lots of seating. A roof garden, bicycle parking, and a swing.
And it is digitally connected to the city’s internet services, so those waiting can download ebooks from the national library simply by scanning a QR code, while interactive digital signboards provide travel planning and timetable information, news, and weather forecast.
