The passing of Mortimer Shea
The Diary has learned of the death of Mortimer (Monty) Shea, of Bishop Rogan Park and formerly of Kenmare, Co Kerry and of Wembley, London.
He is sadly missed by his loving partner Kathleen, sons David, Brendan and Gerard, daughters Colette and Fiona, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, sister Nora, brother-in-law Danny, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Monty is reposing at Glennon's Funeral Home, Newbridge, from 4pm today Wednesday. Removal will take place this evening at 5.15pm to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart and Saint Brigid, Kilcullen at 6pm.
His funeral Mass on Thursday will be celebrated at 11am and will be followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harolds Cross.
Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, may be made to The Friends Of Naas General Hospital, for which purpose there will be a donations box in church.
