2016 was a very good year
It seems like 2016 was a year in which the world has been travelling to hell in a handcart, writes Brian Byrne. Trump, Brexit, Berlin, Nice, Aleppo, and much more.
But as a journalist for more than four decades, I know all too well the editorial truism that bad news sells, good news doesn't. Which means that we can, and do, get presented with a very slanted view of the world around us.
