Thompson's Cross issues to 'customer care' at KCC
Kildare County Council has invited those with specific concerns about the Thompson's Cross issue to address them directly to its customer services department, writes Brian Byrne.
The Council tweeted a response to a Twitter link to the story as reported on the Diary. It said specific issues relating to the works should be sent to customercare@kildarecoco.ie.
The story highlighted a number of comments by local people on the works, which have safety implications especially for cyclists and pedestrians.
Another story on the matter published on the Diary had its Twitter link 'liked' and retweeted by the Council's Road Safety Officer, Declan Keogh.
The problems are being followed up by local representatives.
