Putting up the lights

Ray Kelly and Kieran Behan braved the bitter cold and gathering wind last night, installing and testing Kilcullen’s Christmas Lights, writes Brian Byrne.

The switch-on will take place on 2 December, but the guys and others helping have a lot of work to get through first.

There was a very generous response to the street collection last Saturday, towards the funding needed for the lights.
