Lou Brennan's sisters run NYC Marathon in her memory
Frances and Denise Brennan, originally from Old Kilcullen, yesterday completed the New York City Marathon along with Paul Singleton.
As their race gear said, 'This one's for you, Lou', in honour and memory of their late sister Louise, who died just two years ago in Landau, Germany.
The daughter of Denis and Margaret Brennan, Louise died after a short illness, at the untimely age of 38, in her home of 18 years in Germany, leaving her partner Mark Swindlehurst and their two daughters Lucy and and Emma.
All of us in Kilcullen add our thoughts to her memory.
