Road and footpath works begin on Tuesday
A number of works by Kildare County Council may affect traffic movements for Kilcullen people over next week, writes Brian Byrne.
Road resurfacing on the R448 between Kilcullen and Naas in the Mylerstown Cross area will have that road closed between 7.30pm and 6.30am from Tuesday 1 November to Friday 4 November. Diversions will be marked.
In Kilcullen itself a construction of a new footpath from Laurel Wood to Lui na Greine will begin on Tuesday 1 November and is expected to last for two weeks.
And on the Newbridge Road from Kilcullen to Castlemartin there will also be footpath works, from Tuesday 1 November to Tuesday 8 November.
The Council says there will be traffic and pedestrian management in place for these works, and there could be minor delays to traffic.
