Walkie Talkies open for members
The Walkie Talkies, Kilcullen’s very own walking club had its first walk this week. The club is run by Camphill the Bridge and KARE with the involvement of other interested individuals and supported by Lorraine Kennedy of Kildare Sports Partnership.
The club involves three different walks, going out at three different times during the week. There is early walk which sets out at 10am on Monday mornings from KARE. The evening walk on a Wednesday at 7.30pm is lead by Camphill‘s Marietta Cleary and our local librarian Julie O’Donoghue and starts from the hall in Camphill, while a lunch time walk leaves Camphill every Thursday at 1.45pm, returning to the community at 2.20pm.
Membership is open to all and we would be particularly delighted to welcome anyone developing their fitness or returning to fitness.
