The passing of Dympna Mayne
The Diary has learned of the death of Dympna Mayne, late of Leinster Walk in Kildare Town.
Dympna worked for over 40 years with Byrne & Company Ltd in Kilcullen, mainly in the Drapery department, and she will be well remembered by a generation of Kilcullen people.
She died in the loving care of Lourdesville Nursing Home, Newtown, Kildare. She will be sadly missed by her brother Aubrey, sister-in-law Molly and family, relatives and friends.
Dympna is reposing at McWey's Funeral Home, Abbey View, Kildare today Thursday 4 August, from 4pm where the Rosary will be said at 7pm.
The removal will take place tomorrow, Friday at 2.15pm to St Brigid's Parish Church, Kildare arriving for Mass at 2.30pm. Burial afterwards in St Conleth's Cemetery, Kildare.
