The passing of Jean Geoghegan

The Diary has learned of the death of Jean Geoghegan (nee Kearns), of Laurel Wood, formerly of Cabra West, Dublin (and late of Eurospar, Kilcullen), on Tuesday last in the loving care of the staff at St Brigid's Hospice, Moore Abbey.

She is sadly missed by her loving husband John, her father Matthew, son Robert, daughters Jennifer and Alice, daughter-in-law Mary, sons-in-law Kieran and Alan, grandchildren Jessica, Jamie and Sophie, sisters Gloria and Anita, brothers Matthew and Paddy, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, extended family, relatives and friends.

Jean is reposing at her home today Thursday, from 4pm with prayers at 8 o'clock. Removal will take place on Friday morning at 10.30 to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Brigid for Mass at 11. The funeral will be afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Friends of St Brigid's Hospice, Moore Abbey, for which there will be a donations box in the church.
