Call for better bus signs
Bus Eireann is to be asked to provide better signs at the bus stops near the Applegreen service station, writes Brian Byrne.
This was decided at the most recent meeting of Kilcullen Community Action, where the existing signs were described as ‘very poor’.
This was among a number of issues raised at the meeting, which included progress on having derelict buildings cleaned up, artwork for murals, and general untidiness and cigarette litter outside some business premises.
Window boxes for the 2016 Summer Flowers Project will be distributed shortly to Main Street properties which have sponsored them. Orders for the boxes should be submitted by 20 June.
Window stickers indicating support for Kilcullen Tidy Towns/KCA will also be provided.
