Sports & Community Expo today

A reminder that the second event in the Kilcullen Enterprise Town weekend kicks off at 11am, as the Sports and Community Expo, writes Brian Byrne.

Following on from last evening’s very informative and entertaining Business Expo, it will include stands and demonstrations from a wide range of community, social and sports organisations in Kilcullen. A number of the exhibitors from the Business Expo will also be on show today.

A Sports Panel discussion will be led by local sports broadcaster Killian Whelan of Tipp FM, with famed Irish National Hunt handicapper Noel O’Brien, Michael ‘Chips’ Gannon, and local businessman and saddler Jamie Berney.

The event is once again in the Assembly Hall of Scoil Bhride, and everyone is welcome. KFM will broadcast from its mobile studio in the school grounds through the event.
