Kenny and Armelle competing for SME awards
Popular local business Armelle's Kitchen is a nominee in the second SME Awards competition run by internet domain management company Blacknight Solutions, writes Brian Byrne.
The Awards will be announced on 16 April at the Radisson Blue Ditchley House Hotel on Little Island, Cork.
Kenny and Armelle's cakes and pastries business is up for a gong in three categories, Family Run Business, Under 30s Business, and Retailer (with mostly offline focus).
There are around 140 businesses in contention, many of them food and drink related, but also including a wide range of goods and services enterprises.
Carlow-based Blacknight set up the Awards as a way to acknowledge the hard work and achievements of small to medium sized business in Ireland, the kind of business with which the internet service provider is very involved.
The public will be involved in the adjudication process, and we'll post details of this when it's in operation.
