Great support for Fun Run
There was a great turnout yesterday afternoon for the Fun Run in aid of St Joseph's NS and St Anne's School on the Curragh, writes Brian Byrne.
There were 344 people registered for the event, and the first home was James Nolan (pictured) in a time of 16 minutes 20.99 seconds. The next four were Paul Archibold, Colin Coyne, Michael Dunne and David Browne.
Kilcullen's veteran runner Albert Keenan (below) achieved a very creditable 21 minutes 49.67 seconds.
Some 77 of the participants opted for the 3K route. Full results are available from Popup Races.
