Fallons gets customer service award

Popular local restaurant Fallons has won the Best Customer Service Category in the Leinster Regional Final of the Irish Restaurant Awards, writes Brian Byrne.

The business is one of ten winners from County Kildare in the Awards, the finals of which will be held in May.

The other Kildare category winners include Best Restaurant — Vie de Châteaux; Best Chef — Barry Liscombe of Hartes of Kildare; Best Hotel Restaurant — The Linden Tree Restaurant at Carton House; Best Casual Dining — Las Rada Wine & Tapas Bar; Best Gastro Pub — Hartes of Kildare; Best Newcomer — Timeless Café; Best Café — Twist Café; Best Wine Experience — The Byerley Turk at The K Club and Best World Cuisine — Indie Spice.

It's the eighth year of the Awards, and over 70,000 individual nominations were made for this year's competition.
