Daffodil Day on Friday

This coming Friday is Daffodil Day, one of the biggest national sources of funding for the work of the Irish Cancer Society, writes Brian Byrne.

The event is organised here by Nuala Collins and a group of friends, and since the initiative was started in 1987, close to €100,000 has been generously donated by Kilcullen people.
