Blood donation clinic today
A reminder that the blood donation clinic is being held in Kilcullen today, Thursday 7 April, writes Brian Byrne.
The clinic is at Kilcullen Community Centre between 4.30am-8pm.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service says it is currently experiencing difficulty in collecting enough donations to meet the 2,000 units of blood a week required.
"It is important that we all remember that patients always need our blood," says IBTS Area Manager Miriam O'Neill. "And this never stops regardless of what else is going on in the world."
