Old Kilcullen turlough high again

Another sign of our recent heavy rain, the turlough at Old Kilcullen is up again since after Christmas, writes Brian Byrne. The water table has obviously risen quite high, and the lake is being fed by lots of natural springs in the area.

The picture below is one I took of a sunset over it when it was active in January 2010.
