Council asked to 'clear up' Valley Park

A motion asking Kildare County Council to arrange some clear up maintenance work and flowers for the river walk to St Brigid's Well is on the agenda for next week's meeting of the Naas Municipal District.

The motion has been placed by Cllr Sorcha O'Neill, who in a separate motion is also asking for a picnic table to be installed on the walk, known locally as the Valley Park.

Cllr O'Neill describes the area as one of Kilcullen's oldest heritage sites.

The meeting takes place next Tuesday afternoon.
