CU Poster Competition winners

There was a record number of entries to the 2015 Schools Poster Competition organised by Kilcullen Credit Union, with 367 contribution, writes Brian Byrne.

The winners were presented with certificates last evening by Martin Burke at an event in the Credit Union Building.

The results were as follows: 7 and Under — 1 Aleksandra Bujak, Scoil Bhride; 2 Eileen O'Sullivan, Scoil Bhride; 3 Zoe Thackaberry; Commended: Cassie Mallon, Brannoxtown NS; Mary McGrath, St Joseph's NS, Halverstown; Louise Maguire, St Joseph's NS.

8-10 Years — 1 Jack Jordan, Scoil Bhride; 2 Suvani Veeramuthu, Scoil Bhride; 3 Ella Cullen, Scoil Bhride; Commended: Marysia Bowens, Scoil Bhride; Kellie Mangan, Scoil Bhride; Caoimhe Egan, St Joseph's NS.

11 Years+ — 1 Leon Cullen, CPC; 2 Nadya Dunne, Scoil Bhride; 3 Rachel Ward, CPC; Commended: Tegan Fanning Dowling, Scoil Bhride; Roisin Garrett, Brannoxtown NS; Roising McGrath, St Joseph's NS.
