Mark Wall selected for general election run
Cllr Mark Wall was recently selected to contest the next general election in Kildare South on behalf of the Labour Party.
Cllr Wall was selected On Tuesday night last in the Clanard Court hotel in Athy, where the selection convention was chaired by Willie Penrose TD, and amongst those to speak on the night were Tanaiste and Labour Party Joan Burton TD; deputies Jack Wall and Emmett Stagg; and Senator John Whelan. Cllr Wall was proposed by Cllr Aoife Breslin and seconded by Constituency Chairperson Pat Murray.
The party members present on the night also used the opportunity to thank Deputy Jack Wall for his 25 years of public service in South Kildare.
