Titanic Belfast, a fascinating time capsule
There’s a strong pull in the Irish psyche about the Titanic, writes Brian Byrne. Partly because it was built on our island, and left on its maiden voyage from our southernmost city with some of the world’s greatest and Ireland’s poorest on board. Maybe too, it fulfills something in our keenly honed sense of tragedy.
