The passing of John Dillon

The Diary has learned with sadness of the death of John Dillon, of Chicago, formerly of Kilcullen.

John, a well known singer both back here in Kilcullen and in his adopted city, had been ill for some time. We extend our condolences to his family, especially his daughter Hannah on whose birthday he passed away, and his siblings Mary, Tommy and Michael.

May he rest in peace.
