Big cycling support for Murphy Surveys charity ride

There was a great turnout of 130 cyclists from all over the area this morning for the Murphy Surveys Charity Cycle in aid of Children's Medical Research, writes Brian Byrne.

Held in association with the Kilcullen Cycling Club, organiser Liam Walker said in advance of the set off that they were hoping for up to a hundred riders, so that ambition was more than achieved.

The 50km cycle took the participants around the Blessington Lakes and back to Kilcullen around lunchtime.
