Sunnyhill Road works continue
Works are continuing on the Sunnyhill Road, though they were expected to finish last week.
At the moment it seems the main effort is on bends and junctions, and a significant amount of preliminary work has been carried out to reinforce edge sections, hopefully prior to a full resurfacing job the length of the road.
Meanwhile, the resurfacing of the off ramp southbound at the M9 Kilcullen junction has been completed.
Many commuters will regret, though, that the engineers didn't take the opportunity to mark two separate lanes, with a slip lane from the top into Kilcullen.
It would make a significant difference on taking traffic off the motorway at peak times, and smoothen traffic flow.
But who are we to say? We're not engineers. Just real world motorists.
