Newbridge Main Street in '81 exhibition

Activities at Newbridge JuneFest today include a photographic exhibition of Vincent Brady's pictures, 'A Walk up Main Street in 1981'.

It is presented by Newbridge Local History Group in the Riverbank Arts Centre, opening at 7pm and the display will run until 21 June.

There's also a WW1 re-enactment, 'Off to the Front', presented by the Patrician Brothers School in the Riverbank Theatre, at 8pm. Booking is advised 045 448327, and there will be an introduction by Mario Corrigan and James Durney.

Both events are free.
