Vivian Clarke going Nationwide
Our own Vivian Clarke will be on as part of a feature on the Irish Derby Festival, in connection with his shop windows entry in the competition run in conjunction with the Festival.
He was approached earlier this week by a Nationwide crew, which was led as it happened by a former RTE colleague of mine, Mary Fanning.
He was in good hands there. So was she, given Vivian's Kilcullen Drama Group experience and ease with speaking in public ... they only had to do one take, for which he got compliments!
