Creative Writing course
Kilcullen people interested in writing might like to sign up for a pair of creative writing workshops planned for Kildare town Library, writes Brian Byrne.
The workshops, on 20 June and 16 July, will be conducted by Emily Gillmor Murphy, who published her first novel, 'You and I', in 2012.
The events are aimed at adults, and participation will entitle emerging writers to enter the Kildare Readers Festival inaugural Short Story Competition 2015. Winners will be announced at fringe events in the run-up to the festival in October.
Places are limited so please book in advance. Emily Gillmor Murphy was born in Dublin in 1990. As a child she struggled with dyslexia. She graduated from UCD in 2012, and gained a Masters from Trinity College in 2013.
