Raffle for hospice funds this weekend

Tickets are now on sale for the Raffle organised by the Friends of Toddlers & Wobblers VHI Mini Marathon Committee, which is fundraising this year for St Brigid's Hospice on The Curragh, writes Brian Byrne.

The first prize in the Raffle is a weekend away at the Quality Hotel Youghal. Co Cork, while the second and third prizes are a Drinks Hamper and a Pamper Hamper respectively.

There are also many other prizes and the draw will be held in Joey's Hideout on Saturday next, 23 May.

"We decided, after fundraising for Make A Wish in recent years, that we would change our charity and give the money raised back into the community," says Elaine Haslam. "St Brigid's Hospice is very deserving and close to the heart of many residents of Kilcullen."

Tickets for the Raffle are on sale in Berneys Chemists and The Hideout.
