Emma's new art exhibition

An art exhibition in Naas running from 1-14 May is an opportunity to see the latest work from Kildare artist Emma Campbell, writes Brian Byrne.

The event in McAuley Place will feature a variety of paintings from Emma's very diverse range of works, each one absolutely individual.

The theme of the exhibition is weather and its effects. Entry is free and there's an opportunity to meet Emma on Saturday 9 May from 12 noon.

Emma was recently chosen as one of ten Irish artists to be involved in the global Converse campaign #madebyyoou, where each artist was tasked with designing their own individual sneaker. She is also an artist in residence in In-Spire Galerie, Dublin.

The artist works with acrylics as her main medium, each piece of work derived from a very simple thought which grows and spirals throughout the painting process.
