Presentation to Sean
After the final curtain tonight of 'Caught in the Net' there was a special presentation made to Sean Crowe by the Kilcullen Drama Group, to mark all the help he had given them down through the years, writes Brian Byrne.
The presentation was made by Bernard Berney, who noted that not only had Sean been associated with the Town Hall Theatre since it was opened in 2000, but he had also been involved in the building of it.
An always willing helping hand to everybody and every group that has used the Town Hall/Heritage Centre, Sean retired recently. His nature was to work quietly in the background, especially at the high-visibility events, and he was notoriously camera-shy.
"You finally got one," he grinned, as we recorded the presentation.
