Big day at St Joseph's NS
It was another red-letter day for all at St Joseph's NS in Halverstown today when the new extension there was officially opened, writes Brian Byrne.
The ceremony was performed by Fr Michael Murphy who left Kilcullen two years ago after serving for nine years as parish priest here.
As part of the event, two trees were planted, by Fr Niall Mackey and the youngest child in school, Murray Cole, and by Petra Conroy and the most senior child, Ross O'Brien.
We'll have a full report on the Diary tomorrow, but in the meantime, the pictures from the day are available here.
