Minister to meet on bus services concerns
A meeting between a committee seeking the restoration of bus routes through Castledermot, Moone, Timolin, Crookstown, Kilgowan and Kilcullen, and the Transport Minister Pascal Donoghue, will be held next week, writes Brian Byrne.
This follows a very well attended public meeting last night in Castledermot Community Centre, organised by the Save our N9 Bus Route group.
The meeting in the Dail will be facilitated by Deputy Martin Heydon TD, who told the Castledermot gathering that 'a lot of work' is required to get an adequate bus service returned to the route following JJ Kavanagh's decision to withdraw a number of services.
Those who feel strongly about the withdrawal of services are asked to email n9busservice@gmail.com with stories of how the changes affect them, to give us a stronger case to make to the National Transport Authority.
