Crossing for schoolchildren sought

Two questions relating to Kilcullen are down for discussion on the agenda of the Naas MD of Kildare County Council, meeting next week, writes Brian Byrne.

Cllr Rob Power is asking that a 'safe crossing' for schoolchildren be provided at the Community Centre road between Scoil Bhride and the Castlemartin housing estate.

Cllr Fintan Brett is asking that the Council update the members on plans to extend the footpath on the Naas Road out of Kilcullen.

The meeting will be held at 2pm next Tuesday, 17 February, in Arus Cill Dara, Naas.
