CU membership still growing

The total membership of Kilcullen Credit Union now stands at 3,045, of which 860 are Juveniles and 44 are clubs and associations, writes Brian Byrne.

The Membership Report provided at the recent AGM noted that numbers continue to grow, with 200 new applications processed during 2014. Of these, 100 were regular applications, 71 were Juveniles, and 29 were transfers from other credit unions.

Membership Officer Frances Maher noted that a system update now allowed the photographing of each member, which displays on screen at the tellers desks for security purposes.

She reminded all members that they should provide up to date information of any change in address, or marital status, and that clubs and associations should promptly notify of any changes in officers at their AGMs.
