Shabby Chic opening event this evening
The business at Hillcrest has already had a 'soft' opening to a lot of interest. Operated by Jennifer Monaghan and Antoinette Buckley, it provides materials, advice and training courses for those interested in upcycling furniture, decoupage, stencilling and related crafts.
It is also an outlet for the work of the owners in this area, which will be of particular interest with the approach of the Christmas season.
The official launch event will kick off at 6.30pm, with wine and dibbles and demonstrations of decoupage, stencilling, and using chalk paint.
