Talk on the history of the Curragh area

So many people in Kilcullen have links to the Curragh area, writes Mary Orford — Athgarvan, Ballysax, Martinstown, Suncroft, Brownstown and many more townlands.

They may be interested in a talk about the history of the area. Please come along to the talk on Tuesday 28th, in the Old Band Hall, Curragh Camp, and hear some familiar and unfamiliar family names, tall tales, history, old cures written down by local children in the 1930s.

The Old Band Hall is opposite the Post Office, and the event starts at 8pm.
