Nominations for Kilcullen Credit Union Board

The closing date for nominations to the Board of Kilcullen Credit Union and for the Board Oversight Committee is on 24 October 2014.

Nominations must be in writing and signed by both proposer and seconder, as well as by the nominee who must agree to the nomination.

Nominees must be aged 18 or over, and be members of the Credit Union.

Nomination forms are available from the Credit Union, and when completed can be posted or hand delivered.

Under new legislation since August of last year, the Credit Union Nomination Committee has responsibility to ensure that members with the necessary skills are available to fill vacancies on the Board and the Board Oversight Committee. The Nomination Committee is also required to carry out due diligence under the Fitness & Probity Regime of the legislation.
