Motions on speeding, taking in charge, footpath repair

A motion seeking better traffic signage in Brannockstown to cut down on speeding through the area has been put down by Cllr Billy Hillis for the next meeting of the Naas MD, writes Brian Byrne.

Cllr Hills is also asking Kildare County Council to expedite the taking in charge of Hillcrest and Cnoc Na Greine estates in Kilcullen due to the number of public lights not working and the ongoing issues in each estate.

He's also seeking immediate work on the repair of the footpath through the Community Centre campus in Kilcullen, for which money has already been paid by Scoil Bhride as part of the conditions of planning permission for the school extension under discussion.
