KWWSPCA Family Fun Day

There will be a family fun day and animal shelter Open Day in aid of the Kildare & West Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals on Sunday August 17, writes Brian Byrne.

The event will be in Newbridge Rugby Club at Rosetown, Athgarvan, and runs from 12 noon to 5pm.

Among the attractions will be stalls selling books, toys, bris a brac, pet products, cakes, plans and crafts.

For the youngsters there will be a bouncy castle, tombola, and lucky dip.

Dog agility demonstrations will also be held, and there will be exhibits from the Stonebrook Pet Farm. Escorted visits to the KWWSPCA Animal Shelter will be available.

Entry is free, and donations towards the KWWSPCA are very welcome.
