Afternoon music treat

An afternoon event well worth putting in the diary is 'Music for a Summer's Day', which will take place in the Town Hall Theatre on Sunday 3 August, writes Brian Byrne.

With oboist David Agnew headlining, the event also stars mezzo soprano Maria Fitzgerald, and Desmond Earley on keyboard.

The programme includes 'Music of the Night', 'The Swan', 'Bring Him Home', 'Gabriel's Oboe' and more.
