The passing of Paddy Walsh

The Diary has learned of the death of Paddy Walsh, Yellow Bog. Originally from Dunlavin, Paddy came to live in Yellow Bog decades ago, and had retired recently from his job at Kilsaran.

He will be missed by his family, and many friends and acquaintances in Gormanstown and the wider Kilcullen area, and especially his friends in Kilcullen GAA, for whom he was a former coach for the Underage teams. Paddy will be reposing at his residence from 12 noon on Saturday. His removal is on Sunday morning at 10.30am, arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen, for Requiem Mass at 11. Burial will take place afterwards in St Brigid's Cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin. There will be a donations box in church.

May he rest in peace.
