Kilcullen poll turnout 41 percent

The Election 2014 turnout in the Kilcullen area was just 41 percent, according to information from the polling Centre, writes Brian Byrne. About half of voters came between 4pm and 10pm.

This compares to a 'close to 50 percent' early estimate for many areas across the country.

Some political parties are forecasting a 58 percent turnout, though the two Government parties are suggesting a 'low 50s' just now.

The Diary will be covering the Naas Area count today from around lunchtime.
