The passing of Bobby Walker

The Diary has learned with personal sadness of the death of Robert 'Bobby' Walker of Bishop Rogan Park.

Bobby will be reposing at Murphy Brothers Funeral Home in Naas from 7pm on Saturday evening, where the Rosary will be prayed at 8pm.

Removal will take place on Sunday morning at 10.15 to arrive in Kilcullen Parish Church for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment will take place immediately afterwards in St Bridget's Cemetery.

To his family and friends we extend our sincere condolences. A stalwart of the Killcullen GAA and a 'ragsman' through and through, he will be missed by all, including also his neighbours for whom he was always a champion of their estate. May he rest in peace.
