Ivan Keatley campaign launched

Cllr Ivan Keatley launched his election campaign tonight in The Priory, Walls of Kilgowan, writes Brian Byrne.

With former long-time councillor Rainsford Hendy managing the proceedings, Ivan's bid for election in the Athy electoral area got a strong kick-start from Paul Kehoe TD, Government Chief Whip & Minister of State at the Dept of The Taoiseach and Defence.

Also in attendance among the large group of family and friends were former Fine Gael Leader Alan Dukes, Martin Heydon TD to whose council seat Ivan was co-opted after Martin was elected to Dail Eireann, and Cllr Richard Daly from Athy.
