KCA considers ride-on mower

Kilcullen Community Action is to investigate the acquisition of a ride-on mower in order to improve ability to maintain large grass areas in the town.

The most recent meeting of the organisation which incorporates Tidy Towns heard that a request had been made for the equipment for the work done through the CommunityEmployment Scheme, in areas such as the Valley Park and the approach roads to the town.

The discussion acknowledged that cost is the biggest problem for the equipment and that if anyone willing to help wanted to get in touch, they'd be very welcome.
