'Coke awards' ... be careful

There's text floating around the phonesphere that recipients should take with a great deal of caution, writes Brian Byrne. In fact, ignore it.

It says your mobile have (sic) won $500,000 USD in the 'Coca Cola Promo' and gives a website and a 'Claim Number'. There's also a phone number 'for further information'.

It's been around in one form or another, as an email scam, for years.
