A Christmas Wonderland in KARE today

Well, the Diary had a sneak preview this morning of the KARE Arts & Crafts Sale which gets under way at 12 noon today, and it's a veritable Christmas Wonderland of stuff to browse and buy, writes Brian Byrne.

All sorts of decorations, gifts, handcrafts, and also crafts such as handmade Christmas cards made by the people in the KARE service themselves.

There are lots of raffle prizes to be won, with a Wheel of Fortune prime among the opportunities, as well as a Santa's Grotto, Snowball Throwing, and a Tuck Shop for those with a sweet tooth and in need of seasonal refreshment.

Get on down there if for no other reason than to get yourself into the Christmas Spirit on this first day in December. And from 2pm there's a Gospel choir to entertain. As well as some local talent. Santa is there from 2pm as we'll.
