Oil thefts in the area

There are reports of oil thefts in the area in recent days, writes Brian Byrne.

The tank at the Solas Youth Cafe (Tennis Club) was drained on Tuesday night, and another one in Ballysax was emptied yesterday. Owners of tanks that are in vulnerable positions should be vigilant.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious at Logstown on Tuesday night should contact the Garda.
