How Kilcullen was in the news in 1965

From the archives of the Nationalist & Leinster Times comes this lead story published in November 1965, about the potential for no less than four new factories in Kilcullen, writes Brian Byrne.

The picture on the bottom left of the clipping announces the appointment of one James Kelly to the position of Assistant Chief Executive of the ESB. A son of the tailor from the Market Square, Jim Kelly, he subsequently went on to serve as Chief Executive.
